Item Description

This is a great selection of seven white wines for you to add to your wine collection.

2011 Peloton Cellars Chardonnay (also a T-shirt and wine journal are included)

The 2011 Peloton Cellars Chardonnay is a crisp, fruit-forward white wine from the esteemed Jespersen Ranch outside of San Luis Obispo. With a floral nose and hints of stone fruit and caramel, this Chardonnay has a crisp beginning where citrus zest awakes the palette. Butterscotch, vanilla and caramel linger with a buttery soft finish. This wine is ready to drink now, but it can also be cellared for one to two years.

2012 Cupcake Chardonnay

The 2012 Cupcake Chardonnay epitomizes the Central Coast's crisp and vibrant Chardonnay character. Aging for nine months in premium American oak barrels, enhances the golden color, adds creamy texture, and injects nuances of subtle toasty oak and spice.

2012 Baron Herzog Chardonnay

The 2012 Baron Herzog Chardonnay opens up to pear, apple, and chamomile. Other intense floral aromas are followed by notes of fresh peach, pear and citrus with hints of toasty vanilla oak. Soft in texture, this well-balanced wine is crisp and refreshing on the finish.

2010 Beaulieu Vineyard Chardonnay

The 2010 Beaulieu Vineyard Chardonnay boasts honeyed pear and apple fruit with cinnamon-vanilla scents from the oak. The flavors combine a crisp structure, bright fruit and a creamy texture. Good with spicy fare or light desserts.

Liquid Farm “Golden Slope” Chardonnay by Santa Rita Hills

Liquid Farm wines are made with the help of Buellton's Dragonette Cellars. The outfit was highlighted in 2013 by the Los Angeles Times and by Eric Asimov of the New York Times in an article titled, "Santa Barbara Redefines Chardonnay," after which the 2011 Chardonnay sold out. "Golden Slope" is a mostly neutral barrel fermented (with a varying percentage new oak) classically styled effort, trending toward rich, nutty and creamy.

Plus two bottles of local Cal Poly wines.
