Item Description
Using charming camping fabrics, this beautiful and large (60" x 92") quilt was hand-made by a CfR supporter in Texas. The quilt was created using two camping-themed fabrics, one per side. Tents, retro trailers, canoes, wildlife and even outhouses are featured. Bordered in red and green, the final piece was machine quilted. Sisters on the Fly, take a look!
(Includes a green quilt bag)
Marge Moore, donor, has been quilting for 20 Years. While working as a nurse in Connecticut, she read the book Time Is a River by Mary Alice Monroe. This was a true story of a woman¿s recovery from breast cancer and her involvement with Casting for Recovery. As a nurse, this was so inspiring that Marge knew it was time to get involved. She has since donated her time and talent in making a difference for this cause. This quilt is one example of her contributions.
