Michèle Solá, MCS Director, is a Brooklyn resident and working member of the Park Slope Food Coop (http://www.foodcoop.com/)
Michèle was raised in Trumansburg, New York, where she was introduced to organic gardening, cooking with seasonal ingredients, and enjoying meals with family and friends. She fills a shopping basket every week at the Park Slope Food Coop, with seasonal produce carrying tags that say, “within 100 miles.”
Rose Water (http://rosewaterrestaurant.com) is a Seasonal American restaurant with a commitment to working with as much local, regional, organic and sustainably raised food as the season will allow. It is across the street from the Park Slope Food Coop.
