Private campsites right on the NFCT in Canada! Whether you are a Through Paddler or looking for a new day paddle, Francois and family at Canoe & Co is the place to camp, request shuttles on the Grand Portage or rent a canoe or kayak. Don't forget to bring your passport.
Enjoy a one night stay at Canoe and Co.'s "through-paddler recommended" campsite, conveniently situated on the Missisquoi River in Quebec's Eastern Townships. Located about two miles north of Glen Sutton, one can arrive at this campsite by boat or car. This section of the Missisquoi River is picturesque place to spend 1-2 days exploring the NFCT.
Shuttling services and boat rentals can be arranged with Canoe and Co.
Off the water, visitors have other options to consider. Hikers will appreciate the chance to explore the 200 km Seniters de l’Estrie, or Trail of the Eastern Townships, a route traversing the surrounding ridgelines. Cyclists can follow the Route Verte – an extensive network of marked bicycle routes. Get a sense of Quebecois culture at the village of Mansonville, where a meal at the Owl’s Head Bakery is not to be missed. Those seeking to experience the diverse culture of the region can participate in the regions Arts Tour and Circuit, which offers tourists an opportunity to visit local artists’ workshops.
