The pictures do not do this bedroom set justice! The wood is actually a bit lighter than in the pictures. Each piece has inlay pieces in the design--something modern furniture doesn't have! We have seen pieces similar to these on design shows / magazines that were spray painted in different colors for modern use. These are original wood finish!
The mirrors are beveled with some design shapes on the edges. The dressing table / vanity with its mirror and designs is an art piece.
*Waterfall* furniture is named for the rounded tops and the way they spill over in a waterfall effect. The inspiration for waterfall comes from handmade furniture emanating from the modernist movements in France, Austria and Germany. The ultra-exclusive French firm of Sue et Mare is a major source of these "copycat" designs. Early examples mix Victorian motifs with modernist themes and were designed to appeal to broad audiences.

- Bed frame (head and foot boards): 81 1/2" long x 56 1/2" wide (didn't measure height of head board) mattress space is : 77" long x 54" wide
- Vanity with large round mirror; vanity center flanked by 2 sides with drawers: 72" h x 48" x x 20" d
- Upholstered vanity chair: 31" h x 24" w x 18"d
