Item Description
Eye d' Neau (street name: Karl Thor) has 30+ years of performing at local venues and events such as weddings, the EPCI state legislative wine and cheese gathering, the annual meeting of Mental Health Practitioners at the Sheraton Imperial, and this year at a benefit concert for Youth Villages at the Durham American Tobacco Amphitheater.
Eye d' Neau allows you to create your own song list (12 songs/hour) from a list of over 200 songs. The musical repertoire is an eclectic mix of typical acoustic rock tunes from the 50's to the 10's with some country, jazz, and originals thrown in according to the perceived tastes of the audience. For example, acoustic versions of Matchbox 20, Goo Goo Dolls, Rihanna, Maroon 5, George Benson, Jimi Hendrix, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pearl Jam, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Beatles, etc. maintain the interests of most rockers and guitar aficionados without "blasting out the old folks" while Willie Nelson, Alison Kraus, Dierks Bentley, and Marty Robbins provide some "old school" country standards.
Item Special Note
Eye d' Neau will play for at least 3 hours with 10 minute breaks between each one hour set in Wake, Durham, or Chatham County on weekend evenings or afternoons (great for BBQ's) on mutually agreed upon dates. Venues outside these counties would require negotiations and travel expenses.
