Water Color of the MCS Farm by Roxbury Artist Ellen Wong (painting measures 16"x20" or 20"x24" framed)
A founding member of the Longyear Gallery, Ellen Wong's work has been featured in many one woman and group shows in galleries in upstate New York and New York City, most recently in two Chelsea, NY juried shows this past winter.
A recipient of numerous grants, including a NYS Council of the Arts DEC Grant administered by the Roxbury Arts Group and sponsored by the Historical Society of the Town of Middletown, a NEA fellowship, and a teacher/artist residency at Skidmore College, in 2009 Wong presented "The Face of Farming," a multi-media exhibit, at the Roxbury Arts Group in 2009, which later appeared in 2012 The Art & Soul of the Catskills Film Festival and in winter 2014 at the Peekamoose Restaurant's "Talking With Our Mouths Full."
Most recently, she had a solo show at Longyear entitled Ellen Wong, The Road Show: On and Off Road Catskill Plein Air Landscapes.
