Item Description
You and a guest will thrill to an exclusive tour of one of New York City's finest private collections of scenic and costume design for the original productions of Broadway musicals -- personally guided by its collector and curator! The 350-item collection, located in midtown-Manhattan, spans over a hundred years of design and includes such rarities as Boris Aronson's design for Loveland in Follies, Constance Ripley's costume design for Fred Astaire in The Bandwagon; Ethel Merman's Gypsy costume design (by Raoul Pene Dubois), and the only existing set design from Stephen Sondheim's Anyone Can Whistle, by William and Jean Eckart.
