Item Description
This mask is inspired by the idea that before the performance of Il Muto, The Phantom is hiding in the chandelier. He uses this mask to hide until he can safely ascend from the chandelier to the top of the stage. It's his form of camouflage. This mask is also hanging in his lair as a piece of art. There are hints of red in it to reflect roses and blood, two of his favorite red things.
Item Special Note
This auction lot also includes a classic black windowcard signed by the Broadway cast of The Phantom of the Opera, including autographs from the show's current stars Norm Lewis (The Phantom), Mary Michael Patterson (Christine Daaé), Kaley Ann Voorhees (Christine Daaé Alternate) and Jeremy Hays (Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny).
