Item Description
I built on the mask to create a sculpture using iconic symbols from the production. The mirror represents the importance that the world places upon physical appearance which The Phantom must deal with throughout his life. The candle drips, obscuring the sheet music to illustrate The Phantom hiding his talent amid the dim light. The filigree pattern is taken from the boat that The Phantom and Christine take to cross the lake and the curtain symbolizes the luxury of the opera.
Item Special Note
This auction lot also includes a classic black windowcard signed by the Broadway cast of The Phantom of the Opera, including autographs from the show's current stars Norm Lewis (The Phantom), Mary Michael Patterson (Christine Daaé), Kaley Ann Voorhees (Christine Daaé Alternate) and Jeremy Hays (Raoul, Vicomte de Chagny).
