Apollo 13 Commander James Lovell invites you and a guest to join him for an unforgettable fine dining experience at the family-owned Lovell's of Lake Forest in Chicago, Illinois! This is a last chance opportunity, as Lovell's of Lake Forest will be closing in early 2015.
Your private dining experience is sure to be memorable as you enjoy a gourmet meal and fascinating conversation with Lovell in the exquisite wine cellar of the three-story French colonial mansion. To commemorate the evening, you will have a photo opportunity with Lovell, providing you with a treasured memento of your experience.
Lovell is a veteran of four space flights, including the first manned space rendezvous (Gemini 7), the last Gemini flight (Gemini 12) and the first manned voyage around the Moon (Apollo 8). His final flight into space was adapted for Hollywood in the movie Apollo 13, where he was portrayed by Academy Award-winning actor Tom Hanks.

Travel and accommodations for this experience are not included. The actual date of the dining experience must take place before January 30, 2015. ASF reserves the right to disqualify the high bidder, to reject the high bid, and to accept a bid from a lower bidder, for any reason within their discretion, which shall be exercised in good faith. The winning bidder of this experience may be required to submit proof of identity and be subject to a background check. Hold harmless agreement required.
