Item Description
Always wanted to learn to fly fish, but didn't know how to get started? Has it been too long since you first learned and you need a refresher on the basics?
This half-day, hands-on lesson from Schultz Outfitters will teach you everything you need to get started with fly fishing. Your lesson will be broken into two basic parts. First, your instructor will cover basic equipment, terminology, and set-up--demystifying what many see as complicated at first glance.
From there you will move to the river, mastering basic fly casting techniques and then practical fishing (presentation) styles designed to get you self-sufficient and make your next trip to the river successful. Along the way, you'll also have a good chance of catching your first fish.
This lesson will be scheduled for an upcoming spring weekend (date TBD based on weather) and held in an Ann Arbor area metro-park along the Huron River. The class is limited to four students and all equipment will be provided.
Item Special Note
Please note that this item is listed four times, which means that there are four individual spots (each with a FMV of $150).
The four individuals will learn in a single small group lesson and Schultz Outfitters will coordinate with all four "winners" to find a spring date that works for everyone.
