Item Description

You are bidding a limited edition Nevada Northern Railway Centennial Coin that was struck on the original Carson City, Nevada, U. S. Mint Coin Press #1.

The coin was struck to commemorate the completion of the railroad in 1906. The obverse features Mark Requa, the builder of the railroad driving the copper spike to commemorate the completion of the railroad. The reverse features the Centennial Logo of the railroad. Only 100 of these coins were struck.

The coin is the size of a silver dollar 1.5 inches in diameter and it is 1 ounce of .999 fine silver that has a heavy plating of 24K gold. Because the coin was struck on the original Carson City coin press, the coin features the world famous CC mint mark.
