Item Description
You are bidding a limited edition Nevada Northern Railway Centennial Coin that was struck on the original Carson City, Nevada, U. S. Mint Coin Press #1.
The coin was struck to commemorate the arrival of the railroad to the copper mine in 1907. The obverse features an ore train in the pit being loaded withthe copper ore. The reverse features the Centennial Logo of the railroad. Only 100 of these coins were struck.
The coin is the size of a silver dollar 1.5 inches in diameter and it is 1 ounce of .999 fine silver that has a heavy plating of 24K gold. Because the coin was struck on the original Carson City coin press, the coin features the world famous CC mint mark.
