Kona Hawaii's most experienced rafting company, Captain Zodiac Raft Expeditions established in 1974, invites you on an intimate journey to Kealakekua Bay, Hawaii's finest marine preserve and the site of Captain Cook's Monument.

Departing from Honokohau Marina located 3 miles north of Kailua-Kona, your captain will entertain you with Hawaiian folklore and Kona history as you travel along the scenic Kona coast. Keep a lookout for Hawaii spinner dolphins, green sea turtles, manta rays, humpback whales (during the winter months) and other marine life that are often encountered on the expedition.

Explore lava tubes and sea caves as you travel the inaccessable shores and get the feeling of traveling back in time on this remote coastline. Marvel at the incredible geology as your captains entertain you with their narration and excite you with their skillful driving in rafts just like the Navy seals and the U.S. Coast Guard use.

Your item includes your choice of either the:

4 Hour Morning Snorkel and Dolphin Adventure                          

Typically offered on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday. Check in at 8 am, departs at 8:15 am. Return at 12:15 pm.

4 Hour Afternoon Snorkel and Dolphin Adventure                         

Typically offered on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday.  Check in at 12:15 pm, departs at 12:30 pm. Return at 4:30 pm.

OR

5 Hour "Beat the Crowd" Midday Adventure

Typically scheduled for Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays

Check in at 9:45 am, Departs at 10:00 am Returns at 3:00 pm.
Captain Zodiac¿s "BEAT THE CROWD" Mid Day Adventure is a 5-hour midday tour.  This tour is planned to arrive at Kealakekua Bay when the other boats have left to provide a more intimate, uncrowded snorkel experience. Captains have the option to add a second snorkel site, more site seeing, or added time with humpback whales, pilot whales and dolphins! Includes a light deli lunch, chips, cookies, fresh local pineapple, bottled water and soft drinks.

All snorkel gear is included.  A delicious tropical snack of fresh local pineapple, fruits, snacks, soda, passion juices and water are included. Lunch included on 5 hour Midday tour. 

Wear swimsuits, lightweight cover ups, light shoes ( flip flops, tennis shoes), sunscreen, visors or hats (tight fitting or with a string) and bring a towel!

Due to the "bouncy" nature of ocean rafting, no pregnant women, no bad backs or necks and recent major surgeries (within 6 months) allowed.
