Item Description
Six tickets to The Kreeger Museum in Washington, D.C.
Before The Kreeger Museum opened its doors in 1994, philanthropists Carmen and David Kreeger would welcome visitors to explore their marvelous art collection on one day each year. Through generous funding from the David Lloyd Kreeger Foundation, The Kreeger Museum is now open to the public year-round.
The Kreeger Museum is a private, non-profit museum housed in a breath-taking building designed by American architects Philip Johnson and Richard Foster. The museum showcases the Kreeger's permanent collection of 19th and 20th century paintings and sculptures. Highlights of the collection include works by Monet, van Gogh, Picasso, Miró, Henry Moore, Frank Stella and Washington artists Sam Gilliam, and Gene Davis - as well as traditional African and Indian art. The more than 180 works of art and the beauty of the museum grounds and sculpture terrace, make visiting this museum a truly unique and inspiring experience.
In keeping with the philosophy of Carmen and David Kreeger to embrace the arts, the mission of The Kreeger Museum is to enhance the understanding and appreciation of art and music in a unique architectural setting.
