Item Description
Owned by Canadian actress Susie Almgren, this is a very private, exotic house with four roomy cabinas and one of the most spectacular views over valleys to the sea. Stunning. Very romantic. Unbelievable sunsets.
Perched on the edge of a 50-acre tree farm, the deck is a great place to watch falcons, kites, toucans and chattering flocks of parrots. Hummingbirds visit nearby flowers (arbors and pergolas make plants part of the architecture). Because of the elevation, biting insects are almost nil. Days are hot but there's always a breeze; nights are fresh and great for sleeping. The house is available for one week and for 8-10 people during that time. The beach is a mere 20 minute walk from the house.
Just a five minute ramble to the waterfalls - great for rainforest exploring and skinny dipping in a jungle pool, the site is wild and beautiful. Or go to the beach, horseback ride in Nuayuca Falls, go on a wildlife tour, zip-line through the canopy, try deep-sea fishing or surfing. The villa is just 12 miles north of Dominical, and fifteen minutes south is Ballena National Park, a gorgeous and wild primordial coastline ready for all nature lovers.
By arrangement with owner but the winning bidders for Interlock will be offered preferential dates throughout 2015. Caretakers on adjacent property will spoil you if you wish.
