Item Description
The original of this colorful interior apartment view through open windows was done with oil on canvas by French Fauvist Raoul Dufy in 1928. He was born in Le Havre, and enrolled at the École des Beaux-Arts in 1900. Dufy was influenced by the Impressionist painters such as Manet, Monet and Pissaro, and Post-Impressionists such as Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Gogh.
This reproduction print brings a sense of balmy seabreezes on the Riviera.
Details: Excellent condition; watercolor print reproduction; print measures 10" x 7 1/2"; double matted and framed; frames measures 16 1/2" x 14 1/2" small blemish on interior bottom edge of frame- not visible from front view.
