Camp Kahdalea for Girls & Camp Chosatonga for Boys
They are two separate North Carolina camps about a mile apart in location but very close in fellowship. In the Blue Ridge Mountains, these camps have wonderful in-camp programs as well as great mountain adventure programs. We are known for our unusually wonderful staff who believe in goodness and make it work in this culture. They are such fine role models. Campers are ages 8-17. (7-year old girls are accepted in our girl's introductory session.) Each camp has its own dining hall and lodge, recreation areas, cabins, lake, and various other facilities that make camping with Kahdalea & Chosatonga FUN and an adventure!
The camps are nestled deep within the Pisgah National Forest and are at an altitude of nearly 3,000 ft, providing a rustic and tranquil environment that has not been touched by the busy life of urban America. Our kitchens and dining halls are "Grade A" facilities which provide nutritious food for active youngsters.
Our other camp facilities include climbing walls, athletic fields, arts and crafts areas, a high ropes course, riflery and archery ranges, five tennis courts, riding facilities, a gymnasium, nature trails and campsites, as well as many other places to explore and discover.
Come journey with us and find out why our motto at Camps Kahdalea and Chosatonga is "Have Fun!" Share the EXCITEMENT!
