"Yoshi's House" was built in the late 1940's by Yoshio Kawamoto, a 3rd generation Ranch Foreman. This Classic Hawaiian bungalow has an open floor plan with spectacular ocean and Maui views. Set on over an acre with a lava rock swimming pool, towering Mango trees and plenty of room for a playing a game of Frisbee with the kids. "Yoshi's House" has been meticulously restored and is a lovely and inviting place to entertain. Sleeps 6.

"Miles Away" is a romantic & charming 1930's Classic Hawaiian bungalow surrounded by beautiful gardens in a private setting with Sweeping Ocean and pasture views.  Enjoy a glass of wine while you take in the breathtaking sunset views from your bungalow's lanai. Watch the whales breaching with your morning coffee. Complete

The handmade Japanese bathing tub is perfect for a candle light soak after a long, fun filled day. With two bedrooms and 1.5 baths, "Miles Away" is wonderful for couples and small families. The shallow pool maintains a refreshing and inviting temperature and is a perfect place to cool off after a stroll around the ranch or a day of island activities. The oversized hammock is hung in the shade and has gorgeous ocean views. Sleeps 4.

"The Cowboy House" is the oldest home at Puakea Ranch, built by
Plantation working families at the turn of the century. Zejiro Kawamoto lived in this home with his young wife after emigrating from Hiroshima, Japan. All three Kawamoto children, Yoshi, Masa and Thema were born in this charming Hawaiian Hale beginning in 1922. It was the heart of Puakea Ranch with much activity and laughing children. By the early 1940's the Kawamoto Family moved up the mountain a little further to the Puuhue Ranch section and this home
became the bunkhouse for the Paniolo's, the Hawaiian cowboys working at the ranch. The Cowboy House has a long lanai with separate doors leading into two of the three bedrooms. The open living space leads to the bright and airy kitchen with views to the garden. Over the years the separate cookhouse was attached to the long house or the front portion of the house. The country charm
and simple details of The Cowboy House will take you back in time and invite you to slow down a little and just relax with family and friends. Sleeps 6.
