Item Description
Come aboard the 28-foot "Seeker" for this full day of sightseeing on Prince William Sound. Enjoy the natural beauty of one of Alaska's most breathtaking areas, taking in scenery not limited to rugged mountains, glaciers, nesting migratory shore birds, whales, porpoises, and even black bear in a part of the world explored by Vitus Bering, James Cook, and George Vancouver. This 8-hour excursion can be custom fit to meet your sighting-seeing desires and includes lunch and snacks.
Meet Capt. Dan Retzinger at the dock in Whittier, Alaska, a quaint little historic town tucked at the end of Passage Canal, in the heart of Chugach National Forest. Capt. Retzinger holds a Coast Guard 50-ton masters' license and with his 12 years of boating experience in Prince William Sound and Cook Inlet can surely make this day one of your fondest memories.
This one-day excursion for up to 5 people is available one day only. You may choose and coordinate a day between June 15-19 and June 22-26, 2015. Whittier is about a 1-hour drive south of Anchorage and is accessible by car. You will provide your own transportation to Whittier.
