Our Founder New Orleans native Cecile Hardy first left home to attend the University of Alabama, where she received a B.A. in Art History, followed by post-graduate studies in American Fine and Decorative Art at Sotheby'ÂÂÂÂÂ?s Institute of Art in New York City. She went on to earn her fashion design and merchandising stripes while working in product development for Gap, Inc. and then Williams-Sonoma in San Francisco. After nearly ten years away, fond memories of the Gulf Coast lured her back to her roots.

Determined to be part of the city'ÂÂÂÂÂ?s revitalization after Hurricane Katrina, Hardy came up with the concept of NOLA Couture. Synonymous with the city it'ÂÂÂÂÂ?s based in and draws inspiration from, NOLA Couture captures the classic, fun and whimsical style of the Crescent City. At the heart of our line, silk and ribbon items are adorned with cultural and culinary motifs such as Gulf Oysters, NOLAgators, Shrimp Cocktail, Second Line, Seafood Gumbo and the city's emblem, the Fleur de Lis. Preppy Gentlemen and Ladies accessories, seersucker, as well as Ladies Ready To Wear pieces will take you from an outdoor festival to the country club to Frenchman Street in style. With our resort line, Southern staples in seersucker and madras will compliment any coastal wardrobe.
