Item Description
You and a guest will spend the day exploring Mystic Seaport, "the museum of America and the sea." There's a myriad of discoveries to be made, one of them being the Treworgy Planetarium, in which the stars and planets are projected overhead onto the surface of 30-foot diameter dome. There is even a re-created 19-century seafaring village with New England trade shops and businesses from the 1800s that were actually transported to Mystic Seaport. The museum itself is comprised of 19 acres, and it features two re-created 19th-century gardens.
You're sure to work up an appetite so wrap up your day with a delectable dinner for two at The Season's Buffet at Mohegan Sun.
