Item Description
KPCC’s very own Hettie Lynne Hurtes will prepare a vegan dinner for you and a guest at her lovely home in Los Angeles.
But wait! There’s more - much more! Your special dinner companions for the evening will be Max Brooks and his wife Michelle Kholos Brooks.
Max Brooks, the son of Hollywood legends Mel Brooks and Anne Bancroft, has published three massively successful zombie-themed books – The Zombie Survival Guide, The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Attacks, and the New York Times best-seller, World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War, recently made into a major motion picture starring Brad Pitt.
Max recently made the leap from mythos to American History with the release of his latest book, The Harlem Hellfighters, where he explores the consequences of failed leadership.
Michelle Kholos Brooks is an author and playwright, whose work includes Kalamazoo, Two Parents, Two Weddings, Two Years, and Love and Other Allergies.
You and your lucky guest will have an unforgettable experience with Max, Hettie, and their lovely spouses. It promises to be a special evening filled with interesting conversation and laughs, delicious food, and of course, the wine will be flowing!
Each guest will also receive custom, hand-engraved stemware, donated by Phoenix Raising Art - you'll enjoy the beautiful stemware at Hettie's dinner party, then take home the glasses with you.
This is a unique opportunity that's not to be missed.
Scheduling based on availability.
Must be redeemed within 1 year from purchase date.
