Item Description
Donor Harrison Neel grew up in the First Church, and began working with glass during high school when he was 16 years-old. He studied at Corning (NY), Haystack (ME), and for three years at the Orrefors Glasskolan, graduating in 2005. Returning home he worked at Martha's Vineyard Glassworks for two years, then moved to Seattle. In the Northwest he worked with numerous glass artists, Dale Chihuly, Lino Tagliapietra, James Mongrain, and at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma and at Pilchuk Glassworks. He continues to work with the Chihuly team at the Boat House.
