Exotic and picturesque Cambodia provides a rich cultural scene and a thrilling getaway destination. Staying with internationally renowned food stylist and cookbook author Robert Carmack and textile designer Morrison Polkinghorne at their personal Bed-and-Breakfast makes it a food-lovers dream!

Food enthusiast and writer Robert Carmack is the co-founder of The Globetrotting Gourmet, which has been taking food lovers on culinary adventures in Asia since 2000. Starting out as a journalist, Carmack has also worked as a food stylist and authored various cookbooks, including “Thai Home Cooking,” “Vietnamese Home Cooking,” and “Desserts with Spirit.” Morrison Polkinghorne is Australia’s most Internationally renowned textile expert. His business, Passementeries, specializes in hand-crafted 8th century French-style fine tassels and trims, ornamental ropes and bullion fringe for discerning clients, national trust and heritage homes, and for heirloom restoration. Morrison is also the director of Globetrotting Gourmet and author of “The Burma Cookbook“. Together with his partner Robert Carmack, they organize and host culinary tours to Southeast Asia.

This package for two (2) includes:

1) A 5-Night Stay at the Bric-a-Brac Bed and Breakfast in Battambang, Cambodia. (Double or single accommodation with bath and private balcony. Beds are queen or king or one single. Minimum age of guests is 18 years.) Includes French Continental Breakfast in bed, private libations bar reserved for lodgers and their guests. Free Wi-Fi in all rooms.

2) A Private Cooking Class and Dinner in the showroom. Class is a combination of demonstration and hands-on, with a meal that is a melange of separate courses.

3) One-Day Private Tuk Yuk Tour around Battambang. Robert and Morison will also help you coordinate a private tuk-tuk taxi around Battambang so you can tour the temples, shrines and rich culture that is the heart of this beautiful Southeast Asian culture.

4) Local Crafts Class with Morrison Polkinghorne.

5) Roundtrip Economy Airfare
Roundtrip Airfare from anywhere in the Continental US to Siem Reap International Airport in Cambodia, including taxi transfer from Siem Reap airport and return to airport after Battambang stay. (Travel class dependent on route and availability. There is a possibility that Business class airfare may be offered if winner is extremely flexible with travel dates.
