Item Description
Hungry for a great local excursion to savor…? Place the winning bid on Chef Jet Tila’s Ultimate Insider’s Tour of The Flavors of L.A.’s Thai Town.
Jet grew up in the Thai Town district of Hollywood considered by Thais’ to be their 77th Province. His Family established the Bangkok Market there which endures as the social hub of the local Thai community. He serves as the Royal Thai Government’s official Culinary Ambassador to the United States.
When Anthony Bourdain of Travel Channel’s “No Reservations” came to Los Angeles, Jet personally escorted him on an insider’s excursion of the area for the popular TV series. More recently Chef Jet toured Bourdain on the best off-Strip Thai dining spots in Las Vegas for CNN’s “Parts Unknown.”
Now an aficionado can experience an enhanced version of that same incredible L.A. food walking tour personally hosted by Chef Jet. It’s offered one Sunday every other month for a group of only 15 guests.
You’ll live the sights, sounds, tastes and flavors of Thai Town guided by the ultimate insider. Guests will taste papaya salad, tantalizing jade noodles, and mouth-watering Thai sweets.
Chef Jet hosts this tour in association with Melting Pot Food Tours, the leaders in food walking tours.
Both tickets must be used on the same tour.
Cannot be redeemed for cash.
Gift certificate expires May 31, 2016.
