Dwight 'Doc' Gooden- nicknamed "Dr. K", is an American retired professional baseball player. A pitcher, Gooden played in the MLB for the New York Mets, New York Yankees, Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays from 1984 through 2000.
Gooden is a four-time MLB All-Star, and three-time World Series champion. He won the National League Rookie of the Year Award in 1984, as he led the league in strikeouts, and then won the National League Cy Young Award and a Triple Crown in 1985. While a member of the Yankees, Gooden threw a no-hitter in 1996.
Mike Torrez- is a former pitcher in Major League Baseball who played for seven different teams during 18 seasons from 1967 through 1984.
In an 18-year career, Torrez pitched with the St. Louis Cardinals, Montreal Expos and New York Mets, all of the National League, as well as for the Baltimore Orioles, Oakland Athletics, New York Yankees, and Boston Red Sox the American League.
