Item Description

Starting April 9 and lasting for 8 weeks, a box of Ohio grown, organic produce will be delivered to Lucky's Market in Clintonville -- just for you! Every Thursday for 8 weeks, your community supported agriculture (CSA) share will include a mix of kale, lettuce, spinach, herbs, swiss chard, carrots, and/or other spring produce grown by "local" farms!

The Yellowbird Foodshed is a community marketplace that partners with sustainable family farms in an effort to provide the community with fresh, quality food that was grown locally.  In response to how difficult it has become for the small-scale farming operation to compete in today’s market and how difficult it has become for the community to find access to local food, they have created a way for the community to connect with the food produced in their region in a real way.

The good food you find at the Yellowbird Foodshed is rich with flavor and nutrients because it is grown with intention and close to your home.  When you become a member of the Yellowbird Foodshed, you are joining a community and casting a vote that supports local farmers and cares about creating a sustainable local food system for the metropolitan area of Columbus, Ohio.

Your every bid supports the mission and students of The Wellington School.
