(From Zagat.com) This winter, the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is set to add a new restaurant to its list: Kuro. The venue will feature modern Japanese cuisine created by executive chef Alex Becker, formerly from Nobu and Katsuya. Locally sourced items feature on the menu alongside unique specialty ingredients that are shipped directly from Japan. The indoor/outdoor venue with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the resort’s pool will also include a chef’s table and sushi bar, where executive sushi chef Shuji Hiyakawa (ex Morimoto) will work his magic. As for drinks, expect wine, brews, sakes and Japanese whiskeys alongside handcrafted cocktails offered at the bar and lounge area.
