Item Description

This painting is from a body of work, titled "Memory Logos", that explored the production of memories and conscience in the corporeal body as opposed to a corporate body. The central images are painted on antique linoleum flooring circa 1920 and mounted on aluminum panels. The oyster, as a symbol of the health & fragility of our Gulf shores, is a pivotal image.
