Bates, and was the 2001 Antique Airplane Association Grand Champion. Originally designed as a U.S. Navy fighter trainer, the plane is acrobat-certified. To get a feeling for what it will be like, watch the Youtube video David L. made. Search for: 450 Stearman Cockpit 2011. Flexible date/time between May and September, to be arranged with the Bates'.
