Item Description
Our Sixth Grade students worked with Mrs. DuBoyce on an artist study of Warhol. Here is their interpretation. Warhol was an American artist who was a leading figure in the visual art movement known as pop art. His works explore the relationship between artistic expression, celebrity culture and advertisement that flourished by the 1960s. 16X20 Poster Print
Item Special Note
Each child decorated a balsa wood house in the style of their grade's artist. In lieu of a single class project to be auctioned, we have then taken your child(ren)s balsa wood house(s) and adhered them to custom cut matboard. (Available for purchase under "Custom Family Vignette" for $30.) Before creating the Vignettes, each grade's houses were grouped and photographed together as neighborhoods, and posters were created for each grade. You can buy a copy of your child's grade's poster for $30. (Or you can buy a copy of any grade's poster for that matter!!)
