Item Description

Enjoy a day of art and culture! The RISD Museum in Providence, Rhode Island acquires, preserves, exhibits, and interprets works of art and design representing diverse cultures from ancient times to the present. Distinguished by its relationship to the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), the Museum educates and inspires artists, designers, students, scholars, and the general public through exhibitions, programs, and publications.


Auction item includes a family pass, a special exhibition catalog, and a RISD Museum handbook publication. This impressive volume includes several hundred color and black and white images as well as new scholarly entries by several contributing authors. The curators have selected 375 works of art for this volume. Arranged geographically in approximate chronological order, they represent the high points of the collection.

 

With your bid you will help BWEF fund such programs as Bowls for Hunger which allows students will work with a ceramic artist in creating a bowl, glaze their bowl and then finally have their bowl on display to sell with the money earned helping a local food pantry in need.
