The keys to this 14th Century castle can be yours!!
Chateau Marouatte is a stunning 14th Century fortified castle steeped in history and now fully restored as an amazing family home. Set in the Dordogne region of Perigord Vert in France, Chateau Marouatte enjoys spectacular panoramic views over the surrounding countryside. The castle combines a magical charm with modern comforts.
Surrounded by high fortified walls with 8 towers the castle is divided into two parts, the inner bailey dating from 13th to 15th centuries and the Troubadour wing and outbuildings of the outer bailey built in 1569. The inner bailey chapel and sale d'honneur wing.
Up to 10 people will have the opportunity to stay at this fortified Castle in Dordogne, France.

Chateau Marouatte has 12 individually styled bedrooms (11 king-size/double and 1 single) and has 7 bathrooms. The 240 acre estate also includes a heated swimming pool, tennis court, playing field and many woodland and meadow walks.

This item is only available to the Campbell Hall community.
Valid for 1 week, March 26 - April 2, 2016, which is during Spring Break 2016. 10 people maximum. No pets and no smoking.
Bidding is for castle only. Does not include maid or chef service; however, those services can be arranged by calling the donor ahead of time.

This item is going to the event to be auctioned off in our “Premium Silent Auction”. You may win this item two ways; one, by placing your highest absentee bid online if you cannot attend the event; or two, bidding on it onsite at the Ball.
How this works:
We will close out the online bidding at 7:00pm on Thursday, May 7, 2015 and open bidding at the event at the last placed highest bid.
If you cannot attend the Ball, you can still place an absentee bid. A member of our auction team will bid on your behalf up to your Maximum Bid Amount. If you win this item, you will be notified. You do not need to be present to win.
