17x21 inch Framed Pastel landscape by local artist, Susan Poffenbarger.
About the Artist:
Originally, Poffenbarger was a "plein air" artist, meaning her work was created outdoors. After numerous mishaps, many caused by the weather, she now works from photographs and is a studio artist.
Susan is an award-winning West Virginia artist, who has shown in exhibitions at unversities, galleries and museums throughout the region since 1976. Her work may be found in the permanent collections of the West Virginia State Capitol, Charleston, WV; Huntington Museum of Art, Huntington, WV; The Clay Center, Charleston, WV; as well as numberous private and corporate collections. Poffenbarger is a graduate of West Virginia University and the Art Students League of New York.
