Item Description
Checkerboard Painted Violin by artist Judy Belcher. Colored strings and polymer clay details.
Artist Statement:
I find that I am most at ease combining my love of creating art and communicating with the public. I have satisfied that need in the past by organizing conferences, developing programs for the International Polymer Clay Association, demonstrating at galleries, tradeshows and on television. I have found a comfortable home in the art world in my current job as program director for the Tamarack Artisan Foundation in my home state of West Virginia.
My current line of work is jewelry with kinetic flair. My need for movement , both in my thoughts and emotions is satisfied with the ability to fidget with the jewelry.
