The Brotherhood Winery is commonly acknowledged to be the oldest operating winery in the United States. It is located in Washingtonville, New York, a community in the Hudson Valley, and produced its first commercial vintage in 1839. In 2000 it was added to the National Register of Historic Places.

Experience the enigmatic atmosphere of Brotherhood Winery by taking a leisurely stroll through our vast network of underground cellars.  Excavated by hand in the late 19th Century, the dimly lit cellars house over two hundred oak barrels and feature a crested vault containing some of the oldest vintages in America.

Our team of knowledgeable guides will reveal the secrets of these mysterious vaults and keep you amused with tall tales of folly and tragedy.  The tour will get you well acquainted with the complete wine making process and you will feel like an expert in the field.  The difference between a merlot, pinot noir, and cabernet sauvignon will no longer seem perplexing and a finer palatte will be acquired.

Handling: GSHH will charge a $4.10 handling, packaging, and processing fee for all items.

Shipping: We review the weight and value for all lots by shipping location to determine the shipping charge.

Special Pick-Up of items at GSHH Regional Offices can be made to avoid shipping charge only. You must notify administrator within 24 hours of winning bid notification to avoid shipping charges. No Exceptions please.
