Framed Photo autograhped by Seth Wescott

BIOGRAPHY
The list of accomplishments for this two-time Olympic gold medalist speaks for itself. In 2006, Wescott solidified his spot in snowboardcross history when he became the first man to win Olympic gold in his sport only to repeat his performance in 2010. Competing only four times in 2011, however, Wescott took a more mellow approach to the post-Olympic season - that is if you consider taking your third career World Championship silver and another World Cup win mellow. Still, it's really his constant quest for first descents on big mountains that define Seth as a person. Annual spring trips to Alaska's Chugach Mountains and the shores of Costa Rica keep life in perspective for the most influential man in snowboardcross.

In 2012 Wescott suffered a shoulder injury that left him out for the season, but this legend and veteran of the sport will be back in action next season.

SETH SAYS
I'm looking for some serious redemption pre Christmas break and am on a mission to regain my all time form. I am looking towards the end of my career now in a realistic way and while that may run through 2018, I am looking to capitalize every time I am on the hill from here on out. I am fired up and looking forward to making a little more history.

FIRST TRACKS
On skis by the age of eight, Seth raced for a couple of seasons before getting bored. At 10, he started riding and his skis still sit in his mom's barn where he left them 20 years ago. For a while, he split his time between pipe and SBX training, but when he got word that SBX was going to get an Olympic nod, he went nearly full-time to running the mountain fast.

OFF THE SNOW
Wescott can be found on the golf course, traveling for surf or powder or keeping busy at home landscaping. He also helps out at The Rack, or working on projects with Sugarloaf "to help future generations of CVAers get ready to chase after their dreams.” His time at home is always enjoyed and says that he can “found chilling out with my cat Little, catching up on books and lying around the house just enjoying being at home.”
