7 Days in the Honeymoon Cottage on the island of St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands
The Honeymoon Cottage is a cozy 600 square foot home nestled within the confines of the Virgin Islands National Park and in walking distance of Francis Bay, one of the many premier beaches on the Island’s North Shore. The Cottage has a queen size bed and one full size pull out sofa, a full kitchen, an eat-in screened porch, and a gazebo with hot tub. All of this is tucked away in complete privacy. Dates available for Auction bidders: 4/11/15 through 12/11/15 (Blackout dates 11/21/15 to 11/30/15). Note: Hurricane season peaks in September and early October. Travel insurance is encouraged.

A little about St. John—St. John is a nature island. In the 1950’s, Laurance Rockefeller purchased half the island and donated it to the U.S. Federal Government for the sole purpose of creating a National Park. Today two-thirds of the island comprises the Virgin Islands National Park for the benefit of visitors and natives. Thus, it’s a quiet place. If you treasure tranquility, relaxation, magnificent views, snorkeling, hiking, and sunning, St. John is for you. If you crave casinos, loud music, and late night entertainment, it’s probably not.
