Item Description
Enjoy these four bottles of wine from the award-winning Shelburne Vineyard. The collection includes two bottles of Marquette (red), one bottle of Louise Swensen (dry white) and one bottle of LaCrescent (semi-dry white). Shelburne Vineyard, run by HSAS grandparents, is one of Vermont's premier vineyards. The vineyard has won "Best Red Wine in Show" for three years running at the International Cold Climate Wine Competition.
The Marquette, which won silver at the International Cold Climate Wine Competition, is a dry red wine with a nose that hints at dark berries with undertones of vanilla and coconut. The wine is robust and rich with notes of black cherries and lively spice with a complex, lingering finish.
Louise Swensen has an aroma that is lightly floral with a hint of citrus. The palate is dry with subtle notes of tropical fruits, clean acidity and a stony minerality.
La Crescent won Best-in-Category/Gold at the Atlantic Seaboard Wine Competition. The 2013 vintage growing season produced berries with lively fruit flavors. This is a beautiful, aromatic wine with a touch of sweetness and complexity, that finishes bright and crisp with lingering notes of juicy stone fruits.'
