Item Description
This light-filled country cottage is adjacent to open space, bike trail, wildlife viewing and a stroll away from food, wine and art in the charming village of Graton. It has a private hot tub and is surrounded by beautiful gardens.
The cottage is warm and filled with art. It has satellite TV and a DVD library, WiFi, and gas fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom. The sunny window seat is ideal for reading and birdwatching. The sitting room has a daybed, making it appropriate for one more guest. It has a fully equipped kitchen and a breakfast basket is provided following the first night of your stay.
Casa Ramona is in walking distance to excellent restaurants, the best pub in the county, a coop art gallery, an antique store and wine tasting. It is located on a rural bike/walk trail, on a no-outlet street and overlooks acres of open bottomland along Atascadero Creek. You'll experience spectacular sunsets, lovely vistas and peace and quiet.
It's a short drive to the spectacular beaches of the Sonoma County coast, the Russian River, the quaint villages of Sebastopol, Occidental, Freestone and Bodega, upscale Healdsburg and many wineries.
Guests' comments:
What a lovely escape! This is one of the nicest guest houses I've visited in the Bay Area.
The house was so cozy and the bed was REALLY comfortable.
What a lovely place! We stayed at Casa Ramona for just one night but wish we could have stayed a week. The surrounding property is so peaceful and beautiful. And the cottage itself is perfect--well-stocked, cozy, and spotlessly clean. We especially loved the charming personal touches like the breakfast basket and handmade soap. I will wholeheartedly recommend Casa Ramona to family and friends.
