Circle4/CrazyK cabin is located on over 90 private acres in the Deer Lodge National Forest, off Montana State Hwy 1 between Anaconda and Philipsburg. Georgetown Lake, a great recreational resource for fishing or kayaking, is just seven miles away, and the short drive to famous Rock Creek (a Blue Ribbon fly fishing stream) provides as beautiful a view of Big Sky Country as there is. There are miles and miles of great hiking right out the cabin’s back door. Two mountain bikes, two kayaks, a pool table, and air hockey table are available. Grab a book and stretch out on the hammock next to the mountain stream, and just hang out if that’s your pleasure!!
Philipsburg - 18 miles west – is a charming old mining town with fun shopping and eateries. Anaconda, the closest real town, has two major supermarkets and two hardware stores. There is a Jack Nicklaus Golf Course (Old Works) right in Anaconda, as well as a charming little nine-hole course – both offer very reasonable rental and greens fees. Closest airport is in Butte, but both Bozeman and Missoula are great options and offer more (and cheaper) flights. They are both about 100 miles from the cabin.
The cabin itself has a master bedroom with a queen bed, a guest room with a queen and a twin bed, three bathrooms, and an outdoor sleeping porch (everybody’s favorite) that sleeps up to seven people. There are two small separate cabins (one with a bathroom) each with a queen bed and one of which with a twin day bed. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, disposal, washer/dryer. There are gas and charcoal BBQs provided and a huge fire-pit for bonfires and s’mores.
Seven (7) days, six (6) nights stay in beautiful log home. Sleeps 17 with main cabin and two (2) sleeping cabins. Consecutive days available August 16 - September 26.
