Item Description
Gift certificate for two adult tickets to the 22nd Season of the Portland Chamber Music Festival. Any evening concert August 13, 15, 20 or 22, 2015.
The Portland Chamber Music Festival summer concert series features nationally renowned performers in a wide range of repertoire including the music of living composers. Audience members note the warm and “unstuffy” atmosphere of festival concerts, and performers often address the audience directly with onstage commentary.
Performers in recent years have included members of the Vermeer, Mendelssohn, Borromeo, and Brentano String Quartets; the Boston, St. Louis, and Chicago Symphonies, and the New York Philharmonic. Resident Composers have included Grammy winner Osvaldo Golijov, internationally celebrated composer Earl Kim, retired Bowdoin Professor Elliott Schwartz, and many others.
