Item Description

Crespi class of 1980 alum, Tim Huckaby, is enjoying a storied, 30+ year career in software and is excited to host lucky Crespi student(s) for an Internship / Shadow Day at his company offices in Carlsbad. 

The dates can be any time the student/parents choose in the summer months of 2015. Mr. Huckaby travels quite frequently and will work directly with the parents and students on determining the best day(s). 

This is going to be a fun day and a resume booster that a couple of lucky Crespi students can leverage in their push towards college and a career in the business or technology. Mr. Huckaby is an accomplished worldwide speaker, author, television interviewer / interviewee, and technology executive. Mr. Huckaby would be happy to serve as a reference and advisor to your student after the internship. 

Mr. Huckaby's company, InterKnowlogy, is worldwide known; its customers go from Intel to Microsoft; from NASA to Nike; from ABC to NBC to CNN and many in between.

Mr. Huckaby is an industry luminary that has worked directly with many of the famous technology personals like Bill Gates, Steve Ballmer and Steve Jobs. Many of the technology elite are known to frequent the InterKnowlogy office in Carlsbad because of its cutting edge line of business. The Crespi student(s) enjoying this internship is guaranteed to meet some of the brightest and best in technology and even sit in meetings that will require a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) in to be in place. InterKnowlogy has a cutting edge line of business and is building software that will not appear on the market for years. Lucky student(s) will be exposed to that type of work. 

Last year's winner got to participate in design meetings and as testers for the "CNN on-air election coverage application" used by Wolf Blitzer and John King. That lucky student is able to list working on that project on his resume.

This item is open to the Crespi Community only. 

Bidder will be responsible for shipping /mailing fee, which will be added to the winning bid amount. Items will be shipped via USPS or UPS and billed at standard industry rates.

Item cannot be replaced if broken, lost or stolen. Therefore, tracking and or insurance is advised.

Alternatively, local bidders may pick up from Crespi Office of Advancement on April 1st or April 2nd, 2015 between the hours of 9am and 5pm at 4962 Alonzo Avenue, Encino, CA 91316.
