Item Description
Through discussions, literature study, and reviews of architectural elements, City Campus first graders learn about architecture, then extend their study in the community through visits to the Carnegie Museum of Art, walking tours of the neighborhood with Pittsburgh History and Landmarks Foundation, and side-by-side work with the Carnegie Mellon University School of Architecture and local architects.
The BIG FINISH: Our young design/builders construct models with recycled materials and host our City as Our Campus partners and their parents at the annual Architect’s Convention.
Support the Young Architects at WT: $2,000

As we push toward the Big Finish for Celebrate WT: Campaign for a Smart Future, many of this year’s Fund-A-Needs focus on the “Big Finishes” at WT.
