Outdoor life is an integral part of daily learning—from the Northbound Trail’s way stations that engage hikers in the flora and fauna, to the spring-fed pond’s opportunities for understanding ecosystems, canoeing in tandem with a partner, and finding and studying frogs and turtles. Right now, faculty are working to transform every inch of our idyllic, seven-acre campus into outdoor learning spaces.
