Item Description
Dana Morgan studied at the Art Institute of Philadelphia. At an early age, she was inspired by Jim Henson and would draw her favorite Muppets in front of the television. She has exhibited in several local galleries including Johns Hopkins University, and was artist-in-residence at the Pearl Gallery. Dana lives and works in Lutherville, Maryland. Currently, she has a permanent exhibit at the David Simpson Gallery in Hunt Valley, Maryland, where she is co-managing the gallery with Amy Schuele. She works expressively to create illustrations and narrative works. Her series includes "Pretty City", "The Adventures of Vodka Woman", and "Totally Wanda". Currently, she is being commissioned to do unique animal portraits.
