Item Description

Do you have a child who says they want to be a police officer? Or is your child fascinated by police officers, their squad cars and uniforms? Thi is their chance to get an up close and personal experience with the police force by being a Junior Police Officer themselves!!

Up to 3 kids (age 5-14) get a "Behind the Scenes" tour of the Danville Police Station and participate in fun activities to teach them about what being a Police Officer is all about!

The Jr. Officer Program is an educational program intended to acquaint youth with the Danville Police Department and teach them basic information about law enforcement. Participants will get to tour the Department, learn about the daily activities of officers and to gain a greater understanding of the duties and responsibilities of law enforcement personnel.

The program is a 1-hour experience.

 

Item Special Note

For kids ages 5-14.

Al participants must be accompanied by an adult.

The Jr. Officer Waiver and Emergency Contact Form must be signed by each participant's parent/guardian and turned over to the School Program Coordinator at the time of the event.
