Item Description
"For years, I had dreamed of having a guide dog. When that dream finally came true, it was better than I ever could’ve imagined. Alexa was trained to help me navigate around the inconveniences and obstacles of being blind, you know, wet floor signs, curbs, and stairs.
Alexa was my constant companion throughout all of college. She navigated the campus with ease and accompanied me through more than a few all nighters. In May of 2014, I graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in Music Industry Studies and concentrations in audio engineering and production, as well as a general business minor. At my graduation ceremony, Alexa received a special citation and huge dog bone from my dean; after all, she did attend more classes than most of my peers.
Alexa enables me to over come all kinds of inconveniences and obstacles of life. Thank you for making it possible." - Guiding Eyes Graduate Abigail Lanier
Please accept our heartfelt gratitude for your kindness and generosity.
